Welcome to my website. My Name is Andrew Boswell and I am a Utilitarian Ceramic Artist. I like things that do things (Utility), I like Dirt (Ceramics) and I like reclining nudes (Art)... and that is explains the term Utilitarian Ceramic Artist. Got it?

This passion was handed down to me by my parents, Ray and Theresa Boswell, artists of ceramics and metal who currently own and operate the Bostree Studio and Gallery. To them I owe the foundation of my skills. Attending the Rochester Institute of Technology for Ceramics turned this passion into a profession and to this environment I owe my conviction that as a self employed artist is how I want to live.

I hope you enjoy my website. At this time it serves as an online portfolio. In it you will find primarily utilitarian pottery but some ceramic sculpture should be added soon. My utilitarian pottery is made of the finest non-toxic earthly products and is microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.
